Trevor Macenski (Past Contributor)

A man dedicated to environmental management, Trevor Macenski goes above and beyond the call of duty to do what’s right.

Trevor is intimately familiar with both local and regional planning and regulatory issues in Northern California.

He has a wide range of project experience developing environmental compliance strategies under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environment Policy Act (NEPA) for industrial facility expansions; well and drilling operations, residential and commercial projects; educational, correctional, and public assessment practitioner.

Trevor has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning from the University of California, Davis and a master’s degree in Environmental Science and Policy for the Johns Hopkins University. He also taught environmental impact assessment methodologies at Fresno State and UC Davis.

An environmental scientist, environmental planner, and project manager, he specializes in environmental impact assessment and urban and regional land use planning for both the public and private sectors. He possesses strong technical understanding of the Subdivision Map Act, the Permit Streamlining Act, and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

He is the Director of the Superior California Chapter of the Association of Environmental Professionals, a certified wetland delineator and is a State of California Registered Environmental Assessor #08240.
